Meet

Our CEO

 Nkem Muoghalu (MBA, ACCA) is a seasoned Strategy, Business, and Policy Consultant with extensive experience delivering multi-million-dollar mandates and leading high-impact initiatives. She advises business leaders, large corporates, and public sector clients on corporate finance, strategic growth, and market expansion. Recognised for her ability to drive transformative business strategies, she has led cross-functional teams on complex projects across Africa. 

In her previous role as Senior Reform Leader at the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC), she coordinated key business environment reforms and led the monitoring and evaluation of over 36 government agencies. She also served as the technical lead for the State Action on Business Enabling Reforms (SABER), a $750 million World Bank-financed Program for Results, aimed at strengthening state-level business reform capacity across Nigeria’s 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory. 

Prior to joining PEBEC, she was the Head of Corporate Finance at Backbone Connectivity Network (BCN), a broadband infrastructure company, where she was responsible for the company’s investment strategy and corporate planning. She also worked at Ernst & Young, a global consulting firm with offices in over 160 countries, where she achieved milestone performance, including a two-time double promotion at the firm, an award for leading the most compliant department as compliance champion for the Strategy and Transactions department, and recognition for exceptional client service and innovative support across service lines. 

She has excellent skills in strategic planning, financial advisory, corporate planning, financial modeling, due diligence, restructuring, research, policy development, implementation, and capital raising. 

Nkem holds an MBA in Strategic Planning from Edinburgh Business School, Scotland, and a B.Sc. in Accounting from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. She is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and has also has a certificate in Design Thinking from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA. Additionally, she is a Public Sector Fellow at the African Leadership University, Kigali, Rwanda.
